WINNER in the CLCA – California Landscape Contractors Association – 2010 Trophy Awards.  This garden took first place in the category of “Small Residential Landscape” and second place in the category “Xeriscape Garden”.  How exciting for all of us involved – me, as the designer, the owners and the contractor who did the installation, Larson Landscaping.

This is a garden designed for three little doggies and their owners are allowed to live there, too.  In the backyard, gravel and flagstone create patios and pathways through lush plantings of grasses, fruit trees and climate appropriate plants.  Everything about this backyard encourages relaxation, even the sunken spa hidden behind the tall grass.  The front yard has a bit of a different feel – and the scent of roses will stop you in your tracks as you walk past this house.
